About this Resource
This activity is split into two parts, firstly there is an in class activity which looks at how we read maps, how maps change over the years, and how looking at maps differs to being there in "real life". The second activity has been designed to be undertaken on site and encourages children to look at both old and new maps, see what has changed and try to imagine how it might have looked before.
